Enjoyed a hike on the Pleasant Valley and Pleasant Creek and Pleasant Ridge Trails. 9.1 miles total. Took about 5 1/2 hours with several breaks and a 15 min lunch. Loved the scenery and the woodlands. I didn't see a single soul on the trail. It was really nice to have the whole thing to myself. Some volunteers should go out and remove the litter along the trail. It was pretty bad. Jerks.

DNR is up your behind the whole entire time. Want to have your time ruined by loud neighbors and overpolicing? You chose the right place!

Harassed instantly by DNR because we are from CO. DNR asked us to move from empty plot we set up at, said it was "reserved" even though there was no reserve sign. We ended up moving to plot behind it, no one even showed up to "reserved" plot. Went to go check out one of the lakes to see if we wanted to fish, husband parked, cracked open a beer and stepped out of our vehicle to find DNR pulling up behind us to give him a citation for open container. He was literally 3 steps away from it being ok to have beer. This one night stay costed us $350. So, if you like spending lots of money to be harassed, not fish, not relax and have a great time, this is the campsite for you!

Looked like a nice place but good luck getting a "walk up." Pack everything and drive all the way there just to be turned away. They have an online reservation system that it would be nice if they would mark it as full instead of making it look like walk up sites were available. Not going to plan on going here again.

Parts of the trail are very remote and give you a sense of being in a real wilderness minus the mowed and maintained paths in some locations. There are some secret locations with delightful surprises if you do some exploring. Only saw 4 trees down across the trail today. Looks like the DNR works their butts of to keep the trail clear of debris. Plenty of evidence that chainsaws were used quite extensively. Wish there were more benches scattered throughout and maybe some hooks on the mile posts to hang a backpack for a water/pee break. Thank you for a great trail and a great hike. I will be back.

Very good location and well maintained.
